The Library of Alexandria

… are a free-improvisation trio based in Ngunnawal Country, Canberra. The group freely improvises all their music. They make music inspired by graphic scores, unique challenges and whatever is happening in the moment around them. Their sound is informed by a wide breadth of jazz subgenres - and whatever they play or suggest to guide each other.

Improvising all their music, they never play the same thing twice and make everything up live on the stage, in the studio - or wherever they play.

The Library of Alexandria are:

Lari Alexandria - Keys
Paddy Haesler - Bass
Jarrah Palethorpe - Drums & Percussion
